Additive for mc1.20.4 now considered stable, with CIT support
Additive for mc1.20.4 is now stable! For CIT, I am now using a temporary CIT Resewn fork until upstream updates. If you run into any issues with Additive, as always, file a bug report.
Replaced Borderless Mining
Replaced Borderless Mining with a more simple and up-to-date mod, Cubes Without Borders. This mod doesn't have a configuration screen and instead lets you toggle it in the video settings.
Downgraded OptiGUI
Downgraded OptiGUI to the latest stable version as recommended by the author in the changelog.
Mod updates
Updated Fabric API and Polytone.

Temporarily reverted Nvidium
I've temporarily reverted adding Nvidium until pull request #173 gets merged. It'll be added back after that.
If you are not on Linux, you can add Nvidium back and it should work just fine.

Major performance improvement on modern Nvidia cards
After some careful planning and community feedback, Nvidium is now included in Adrenaline by default. Nvidium is a replacement rendering backend for Sodium that uses Nvidia-only OpenGL extensions to increase FPS by a significant amount. The mod is considered stable enough for general usage (as said by Cortex, the maintainer, and also various community members), so I've added it to the modpack.
Some individuals have stated having between a 30%-250% increase in FPS, which is a very major amount. It's worth noting that Nvidium only really works well at high render distances. It likely won't improve too much at a low render distance.
Nvidium will only function on Nvidia cards from the Turing microarchitecture and after, so this means any card in the 16xx series or later. On incompatible cards, such as old Nvidia cards and all AMD/Intel cards, the mod will automatically disable itself, so it won't interrupt your gameplay or anything. Nvidium will also automatically disable itself when Iris is actively using shaders.
If you run into any issues with the mod, report them on Nvidium's issue tracker. Enjoy!

Highlights
Cleaned up and improved config
I've formatted all config files and removed unnecessary lines, along with updating them to be compatible with the latest mod versions if they weren't. This shouldn't come with any issues, but do make use of the issue tracker if you experience any.
Other changes
- Added a comment to the ModernFix dynamic resources line explaining why it is temporarily disabled in Quilt 1.20.1.
- Fixed capes config file. This should now be working properly, whereas in previous versions some of the cape providers were disabled.

Highlights
Only supporting Sodium LTS versions
- This is a significant change that users should take notice of.
- From now on, Adrenaline and Additive will only support the Minecraft versions that Sodium supports. Currently, this is 1.20.1 and 1.20.4.
- This will significantly improve my development process and allow me to produce updates faster and cleaner. This also means that Adrenaline and Additive will always have the newest features and optimizations. It shouldn't be an issue for most users, and there are easy ways to continue using Adrenaline and Additive on older versions.
- Much more information and discussion thread is available on the Discord server. Invite link is on the Modrinth page.
Custom colors support
Thanks to the wonderful Polytone, Additive now supports custom colors again! Among many other features that the mod provides. If you find any bugs with the mod, report them here.
1.20.4 is nearly marked stable
Additive for mc1.20.4 is now only missing CIT Resewn. Other than that, it should be stable enough for general use.
Many mod updates
Many of the mods in the pack have been updated. Important updates include:
- Sodium has been updated from 0.5.5 to 0.5.8, which has many bug fixes and compatibility improvements. Consider supporting Sodium's development by donating to JellySquid.
Other changes
- Cleaned up Sodium config file and enabled Sodium's entity culling.
- Updated Fabric and Quilt loader versions to their current latest. You should hopefully not experience any "out of date" loading errors.
- Disabled internal hashes in packwiz settings.
- Removed LiLaC as it's no longer needed.
