What does this mod do?
Well... This threat to normality revolves around cursed mechanics related to lava.
Features:
Customization;
Lava in block form;
Lava soup;
Charred bowl;
Lava explosions;
3 satirical advancements.
How do I obtain what this mod's features?
To obtain a lava block you must break a lava source block with a netherite pickaxe (I recommend having efficiency 5 as it's hardness is twice the obsidian's);
To obtain lava soup you must combine 4 bowls and one block of lava in your crafting table;
To obtain a charred bowl, simply drink the contents of your lava soup.
It seems kinda boring, does it do anything else?
I gotchu!
Each item has a satirical tooltip (see images);
The lava block can be drank for instant death (can be prevented with either a totem or fire resistance) and 2 minutes of glowing, deals 7 hearts of damage and sets what you hit on fire, when on your hand it sets you on fire, can be worn on the head slot, can be combined with a bucket to get a lava bucket and can be thrown on water to turn it into obsidian. It can be used as furnace fuel;
The lava soup can be drank for 30 seconds of glowing, loss of 15 hearts (can be prevented with either a totem or fire resistance) and a bit of hunger (which will probably be used to regenerate the lost health). It can be used as furnace fuel;
The charred bowl... Well... It cannot be used for anything else but it serves as furnace fuel.
Lava explosions? What do you mean?
What do you think happens when lava enters in contact with lava or fire? Well... Good question. In this mod it explodes. The explosion can also be extremely destructive, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ON A WORLD YOU CARE ABOUT!!!
Customization? What can I change?
Glad you asked!
This mod adds 2 gamerules:
Gamerules:
why:lavaExplosionDestroyEverything (Default: true) - If this gamerule is set to true, the explosion lava causes will destroy any and all blocks (yes, bedrock included);
why:lavaExplosionPower (Default: 10) - This gamerule can be changed to increase or decrease the power of the explosion caused by lava.
It also comes with a tag for you datapack fans!
why:tags/items/explosive_items
This item tag can be modified to add or remove items that have the explosion behavior.
What are these advancements?
Well... The first is gained upon obtaining a block of lava, another gained upon obtaining lava soup and the last one obtained by eating a lava block.
... Why?
... N-Next question!
