Surges
- Rebalanced Progression so it consumes 10 levels each time you avoid death, this way is easier to outdamage the surge.
- Rebalanced Transformation so it takes as much levels as blocks you change to use it.
- Illumination disguises now only work with mobs big enough to cober a player, chickens, foxes or rabbit are no longer valid illusions to hide behind.
- Illumination disguises now are controlled with the Illumination surge, if you stop using the surge while having the illusion activated it will dissipate the illusion.
- Using the Transportation surge in water while being in a water biome (rivers, oceans or swamps) now will spawn a little obsidian island around you so you dont have to worry about ending falling to the void every time you use it.
Shardplate
- If you broke your oath and are of the fourth Ideal you will drop your shardplate in form of a helmet that unoathed can use.
- Dead Shardplate armor funcionality. Like in the books unoathed get their full armor by equiping their helmet.
Fixed
- When you use the Illumination surge to disguise yourself as a Mob you will no longer emit potion particles.
- Shardblades now drop correctly when oaths are broken by renouncing or attacking villagers.
- Bonding a dead Shardblade while being a radiant no longer kicks you from the world, with a 'network protocol error'.
Ideals
- New truth for the third Ideal of the Lightweavers “This is just another two-week minecraft phase” suggestions accepted ;)
- Lightweavers cooldown between the second and the third Ideal now is displayed in game so you know when you are ready to swear the next one. The actual time its not showed just that you are on cooldown, if you stop seeing the effect you are free to advance
- Lightweavers wiki updated to the correct fourth Ideals
Fixed
- Bonding a dead Shardblade no longer prints Message on chat
- Fixed second Ideal of the Elsecallers, now you can join them by directly swearing it like the rest of the orders
Unoathed
- Renouncing your oaths now always drops a dead shardblade if you are of the third ideal or more (before there was a problem preventing it in some cases).
- You can craft a dead shardblade and a gem (amethyst, emerald or diamond) to make it a bondable shardblade.
- You can no longer become an Unoathed by saying their words. You must now get a deadblade and bond it to join.
- If you are an Unoathed and you die you will stop being one and drop your shards, these shards will be free to bond for any non Radiant
Other
- Amethyst shards now can also be infused to store investiture like Diamonds or Emeralds.
Surges
- New interaction with the Tension surge. By right-clicking in the air with an empty hand while the surge is active, it will be applied to your armor for two minutes. After that time, if the surge is still active, it will be reapplied to your armor. If it's not active, your armor will return to normal.
Spren
- Updated texture for the cognitive version of Highspren.
Others
- Changes to the Ender Dragon model to better align with the Cosmere lore and the philosophy of the mod.
Oaths
- When you break your oaths, you can no longer rejoin that specific order, but you can still join other orders where you haven’t broken their oaths.
- Specific achievements have been added for breaking the oath of each order.
- You can now break your oaths at any time by typing “I renounce my Oaths” in the chat. This breaks your oaths for all orders, including Elsecallers and Lightweavers.
- The third oath of the Truthwatchers has been updated after seeing the canonical oath in the latest sneak peek of the Cosmere RPG: *“I will reveal truth to all who seek it.”
Spren
- The cognitive versions of each order’s spren have been added to appear with you in the Cognitive Realm (the End dimension).
- Every time you change dimensions, your spren will appear beside you.
Surges
- Windrunners who have both surges active at the same time now need to have an item in their offhand to be immune to arrows.
- Using the Division surge with left-click now completely destroys the block, and with right-click, transforms it when appropriate.
- Squires can now only activate their surges if a member of the same team is nearby.
- The Division surge now affects more blocks, such as copper, campfires, or crying obsidian.
Fixes
- Using the
/summon
command with an ashspren no longer crashes the game. - When flying with the Gravitation surge and your Shardblade is in your inventory, it will no longer delete the item in your hand when switching between sword and spear forms.
Other
- When you first enter the world, your spren tries to contact you, since canonically, starting a game with the mod assumes the player is a Radiant between the first and second ideal who has been forced to arrive on the Minecraft planet.
Surges
-
The Surge of Tension now lasts for two minutes on tools before reverting to their original state. It is more expensive on wooden tools (10 XP) and cheaper on diamond tools (1 XP); other materials cost 5 XP.
-
Applying the Surge of Tension to a lead or string will turn it into a sword with the same damage as wooden sword.
-
Changed controls for when a Radiant is using Gravitation, they now stop with right-click and change the lashing direction by Shifting.
-
If an entity is hit with an empty hand by a Radiant with access to Abrasion, it will receive a potion effect that makes it drop whatever they are holding for 4 seconds.
-
Windrunners who have both their Surges active at the same time will reflect projectiles.
Fixes
- Skybreakers who have sworn to follow the law will no longer break their oaths for wearing gold armor in the Nether, but rather for not wearing it.

Skybreakers Ideals System:
- Ideal of veganism
- Ideal of non-violence
- Ideal of following the law
- Ideal of following someone's will
The Ideals must be upheld even after they are sworn.
Elsecaller Ideals System:
As an Elsecaller, you must choose a field to dedicate yourself to. You earn your third Ideal by achieving your first related advancement. To reach the fourth Ideal, you must complete all achievements related to that field. Fields include:
- Archer
- Smith
- Beekeeper
- Collector
Lightweaver Ideals System:
A random cooldown is added between the second and third Ideals, as the third is "free." The fourth Ideal is tied to achievements that "fit truths about yourself."
Third Ideals Rebalancing
The third oaths for the following Orders have been rebalanced (mainly adjusting the philosophy behind them):
- Willshapers
- Truthwatchers
- Stonewards
- Elsecallers
The Stonewards now have lore-accurate oaths, as do the Skybreakers and the Windrunners.
Surges
- Using Surges no longer produces potion effect particles.
- Investiture cost reduced for Division, Illumination, Progression, and Cohesion.
- Skybreakers can ignite the area around them while flying (to be reviewed).
- If falling, you can use reverse Abrasion to slow yourself by sliding along a wall.
- Gravitation is no longer controlled with Shift: you now stop with Shift and swing with left-click.
