Biomimicry 0.3 is here! this major update brings a lot of fixes, changes, additions and removals. let me tell you all the changes in this update:
Dependency Changes:
Because of external errors, we are saying goodbye to Create: Sifter and have replaced it with Ex Nihilo Sequentia. also, Create Slice and Dice should now be optional, for the players wishing for a little less automation. this brings the required mods down to 3, being Farmer's Delight, Ex Nihilo Sequentia and of course Create.
New Datapack:
Because of how much content is included with Ex Nihilo, I have decided to include a datapack, which is on by default, to disable most recipes. the item will still be in creative and JEI, u just can't access them in survival. Modpack makers are recommended to disable this datapack and make your own recipes using KubeJS or CraftTweaker.
Reworked Meat Paste:
Meat Paste, now replaced by Raw Meatball, has received a complete overhaul to make it more accurate to real life and a recipe that I am happy with.
Personal Creative Tabs:
the items and blocks have unionized, which all of them now residing in the Create: Biomimicry tab. If you would like for them to also be in the vanilla tabs, tell us in the discord or on github.
General Changes:
- Added Raw and Cooked Meatballs.
- Added Cheese and Cheesewheels
- Added Chopped Onions and Breadcrumbs.
- Added the Cactus Spear and the Cactus Spearhead, with the Cactus Spear being a new end-game weapon dealing 10 damage and having longer range, but being very rare to get
- The Infinite wheat grass has been removed from the honey recipe tree to make wheat grass rarer.
- Cactus Spikes have been renamed to cactus spines, as well as them no longer being a weapon with that role being taken by the Cactus Spear.
- Removed Carrot Paste, Sweet Berry Paste and the Dull Cactus Spine
- And Even More! Remember to join the discord if you want to tell me something and go to the github If you have any issues!
Welcome to 3rd patch for Biomimicry 0.2!
This version is now also available for 1.19.2.
Changes: - All sweet berries and meat paste are now edible - Removed infinite loop in honey recipe
PS. I have a discord now, which is linked right here or it should be in the project
KNOWN PROBLEMS: - the log doesn't like the 8x8 and 6x6 textures of the cactus spike and dull cactus spike, but the textures work in the world.
The time has come!
After having seen the continued interest in the honestly terrible 1.19.2 version of the mod, I decided to backport the rewrite of the mod to 1.19.2. Please look at the changelogs for 1.20 PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ITEMS FROM THIS MOD HAVE BEEN REDONE AND WILL DISAPPEAR FROM YOUR WORLDS Changes:
- Backported mod to 1.19.2
- made all sweet berries edible as well as meat paste
- removed infinite loop in the honey recipe
- RIP Animalistics PS. I have a Discord now, link or should be linked in the project
KNOWN PROBLEMS:
- the log doesn't like the 8x8 and 6x6 textures of the cactus spike and dull cactus spike, but the textures work in the world.
- the log SCREAMS at you about wheat grass, but it does spawn in the badlands
-
Fully redone the mod from scratch without MCreator :?
-
Ported the mod to 1.20.1
-
Ported the mod to the new NeoForge (not really any different from Forge atm)
-
Added the Lonely Sweet Berry :( (just a single sweet berry, definitely doesn't want to take over the world or something)
-
Added the Clean Sweet Berry (Mr. Berry, but after a shower)
-
Added the Broken Stick
-
Did a bunch of renaming in the mod, so things will be called different
-
The mod is renamed to Create: Biomimicry instead of Create: Animalistics to avoid being linked to Animalistic and because the old name is stupid
-
Added Berry Paste, a bunch of crushed berries
-
Added Carrot Paste,
-
Added Chopped Carrots
-
Added Wheat Grass, a special type of grass native to some badlands, thought to have honey-like insides
-
Added Meat Paste
-
Added Wheat Rice Mix, which seems to contain a bunch of honey, maybe try sifting it out?
-
