Flattened Dimensions Data Pack Collection
This is a collection of Data Packs that flatten the Overworld, Nether, and End while keeping biomes and structures.
Please note when using this, just add the Data Pack on the world creation screen and create a world like normal. You do not need to use the Superflat Preset.
Compatibility Notes:
The Superflat Dimensions Versions do not currently work with any biome mods! There is a technical reason behind this, but the Flat Dimensions should work with biome mods (although there may be some weirdness).
I may fix this in the future, but it is impossible to fix for the data pack version.
Versions:
Classic Superflat Dimensions
Three layers of terrain and one layer of bedrock at y=0. No trees/foliage, caves, or ores. Just structures and biomes. Modeled after the "Classic" Superflat preset
Superflat Dimensions
Exactly like the Classic Superflat Dimensions, but with trees and other biome features!
Flat Dimensions
A Normal World capped at Y=64 without Caves
Modeled after the "Overworld" Superflat Preset
Flat Dimensions with Caves
A Normal World capped at Y=64.
Generation Notes:
- 1.21.2+ Superflat Dimensions Exclusive versions notes
- Mineshafts will generate on the surface
- Mansions will be floating (there isn't much I can do about this unfortunately)
- Monuments will no longer be covered in water
- Aquatic mobs can spawn below Y=4 (but they need 3 blocks of water to spawn)
- pre-1.21.2 Superflat Dimension Exclusive version notes
- Phantoms could only spawn above Y=63
- Most aquatic mobs could only spawn from ~Y=50 to Y=63
