What is AllTheMons x Mega Showdown?

AllTheMons is a collaborative effort from many contributors to add as many Pokemon as possible to Cobblemon. All of the addons below have been modified to ensure that there's no overlap, which prevents game-breaking bugs/crashes you would experience without AllTheMons.

AllTheMons x Mega Showdown aims to bring that experience to all of you that use MSD and don't want to miss out on using ATM in conjunction!

This still requires Mega Showdown, but you have to replace regular AllTheMons with this!

How to install

Singleplayer:

Put the .zip in /saves/[WORLDNAME]/datapacks
Put the .zip in /resourcepacks
Enable in game ESC - Options - Resource Packs

Servers:

Put the .zip in /world/datapacks
Sometimes it's called myworld, or something similar, sometimes it has a name instead
If you're in doubt about the correct folder, consult your server providers guide on how to add datapacks

Every Player has to have the .zip installed as a Resource Pack
Best option if for them to have it installed and enabled in their clients
It's possible to add them to server resources, but note that there have been issues with this for some cobblemon addons, so try whatever method suits you better

Features and Extra Content

AllTheMons features:

  • Adds more than 200 unique Pokémon to expand Cobblemon!
  • All of them are obtainable in survival without compromises!
  • Fixed & added most Dex entries and descriptions
  • Ride On! compatibility for 100+ unique Pokémon
  • Somewhat lore accurate spawn locations
  • Somewhat lore accurate sizes
  • Many regional variants
  • Added rare drops
  • Working hitboxes

Mega Showdown exclusive features:

  • Adds spawns for all legendary Pokémon in Mega Showdown
  • Overrides spawns for some Pokémon in MSD to work with the ATM Cobblebot
  • Overrides some Pokémon in MSD to provide better ones from ATM (check gallery)
  • Removes duplicate Pokémon from ATM because MSD uses the same ones, they look better or for consistency with their mega models
  • Custom form changes for Pokémon like Shadow Lugia/Mewtwo (+ Shadow Megas), Armored Mewtwo, Ash Greninja and Deoxys

Where do all those Pokémon spawn?

To find that out you have to first join the AllTheMons Discord and then type !spawns.
From there our fully automated bot will tell you all about the spawns like their rarity, spawn conditions, requirements and the biomes!

Note that I will only provide support for bugs/questions actually related to this addon, not Mega Showdown itself.
Also don't ask questions regarding AllTheMons x Mega Showdown or Mega Showdown itself on the ATM discord. If we notice continued breakage of that rule you'll be muted/banned and won't be able to receive any support/usage of the spawn bot.

Data/Resource Pack addons:

  • Kenji's Better Shinys, Pokeodyssey, Allthemegas, Cobbleremodels

Mod addons:

  • Ascension Megamons, Cobblemon Alphas, Cobblemon Megas, Gravels extended battle, Cobblemon loot tables, Cobblemon Update Enhanced, Flourish, Hiddenmons (Mod)

Modpacks:

  • Cobbleverse (you can get it to work but since it uses lots of incompatible addons for core aspects of its gameplay, it’d be a lot of file management to fix it. You're better off leaving it as it is since it has most of these mons already in it)

The MegaShowdownSpawns addon from the MSD discord server:

  • It's supposed to add legendary spawns to MSD but all of those are already in ATM x MSD, which could make the spawns clash with each other and thus break them

All other versions of AllTheMons:

  • This includes the regular ATM addon, other forks like BCG x ATM and all older versions of ATM x MSD

All Developers of these packs gave their full permission for their assets to be used, proof of these can be found within the addon file, in a folder titled "Proofs of Permission"
We did not create any models, textures, or animations, that's not to say the ATM team didn't do anything though - this pack has hours and hours of work put into its spawns, species files, bug fixing, creating documentation, and much, much more, all done by EasySqueeze, Mayayoh, N8nt and myself.
Due to the collaborative effort, AllTheMons has a strict license to make this even possible in the first place. Read it before starting a server or modpack containing the addon. You can find it here.
