This resource pack aims to create an immersive prehistoric survival experience in Minecraft by replacing mobs with dinosaurs that complement the original mob's behaviors. Each dinosaur added is designed around a real-life species or genus and comes with custom drops, sizes, and other attributes(such as movement speed and health).
Downloading the associated datapack will unlock a ton of other content including structures, advancement, custom items and recipes, as well as new weapons themed around the items dinosaurs drop!
Update 2.1 is out now! Check out the changelog on my website.
The upcoming species list is already planned, but I am open to suggestions for specific dinosaurs, item drops, or other feature suggestions you have, so feel free to find me on Twitter"X" and send me a message!
Current species list:
- Camel=Camarasaurus
- Chicken=Avimimus
- Cow=Styracosaurus
- Horse=Parasaurolophus
- Pig=Chunkingosaurus
- Polar Bear=Therizinosaurus
- Rabbit=Psittacosaurus
- Ravager=Carcharadontosaurus
- Sheep=Dryosaurus
- Wolf=Utahraptor

- Donkey=Shantungosaurus
- Mule=Lambeosaurus
- Strider=Gigantoraptor

NOTE: This resource pack is meant to be paired with the Project Extinction Datapack to have access to all of its features. It still works without the datapack, but key elements such as recipes, mob attributes, etc. will be missing.
This resource pack also requires either the matching version of OptiFine if you are using CurseForge, or Entity Model Features if you use Fabric or Quilt. One of these mods is required for my resource pack to change the models of entities so you will need one of these installed for the pack to work.
All content and textures for the current version are made by myself, with input and feedback from Pheonix and Dewlan. Music by Red Wolf.
